Went out to my spot that has been used by people since the late 1600’s. The bugs were brrruuuuuutal so I only swung for an hour or so. I got some old relic stuff and some not so old stuff, ‘39 merc, wheatie, but I think I lost it🤤 piece of a shoe buckle frame, brass face plate from a really old pad lock, copper ring with a mondo-wondo yellow stone, key hole escutcheon, pewter cuff button, pewter rosette and the usual crappola.
Happy 4th

Nice! Silver is silver. Too hot for me (I am a wimp in the summer heat; kick ass in the cold, though).

Joe good finds there! I really like the keyhole escutcheon and that rosette is pretty cool too! You even got a merc in there! The treasure hunting world wants to know how you got out and hunted without the wife knowing!? That would be impossible in my world as I have a 1 year old... but I need to know the secret to your success... I could use that some day!

My trick is; become super annoying and let your kids have slumber party’s. Then, when all hell is breaking loose, run. That should work. It’s also helpful to stage your detector in your car/truck before you start running.
