Stuck to our tried and tested strategy - Bag Seal City (Barley Stubble) in the morning & 1 of the 6 Bonus Fields in the afternoon.
The forecast was possible thunder showers but we wrapped up in time & missed the worst of it.
The straw had finally been taken in, so we carried on our grid for 2.5 hours.
Typically Cru'dad got the best coin of the day (Roman Silver) OTWBTTC ! (Some way outside of the main scatter!)
Picture 1 (1.jpg):
6 Roman Coins - 1 OK Arcadius
1943 French 1 Franc (pretty good condition for an aluminium)
Tudor Clothes Fastener
Broken Jetton
Nice - Denarius of Sept. Sev. AD199 - Laodica Mint :headbang:

Did our usual move & gridded for only 2 hours before the storm hit:
3 Scrappies
Roman Spoon Bowl
Georgian Pan-Weight
Half a Medieval Dog Swivel
Spec. Buckle
4.5 Lead Tokens
Hammered Commonwealth Half Groat

Crusader,

Awesome last couple of hunts, you have killing it on the silver finds. Thanks for taking us along on your adventures. I found a real nice Roman copper with great details on my last hunt in Germany, I will post it once my household goods arrive in hopes you or Westfront can help me in identifying it.

Good luck with your hunts.

Walt
