Hi everybuddy!
I hope everyone is doing great.
Finally, i could go out for two days.
First of all i would like to post this lead bullet, probably medieval.
It looks as it was crashed on a hard surface and then someone drilled a hole on it, stamped something and used it as a neckless. Who knows, maybe he was shot from this bullet but something ( maybe an armour) saved his life.

The second interesting find is this small roman earring. I found it with the 13 inch x35 coil. The signal was very clear.

Ive been finding a lot of these small ugly rusty nails and most of the time they sound like coins. This time i found out how were they used.

Some beautiful ancient treasure you have there, it's good to see you back! I wonder about the riveted piece of bronze in the picture of the "junk", it looks potentially interesting, a hinge piece from ancient leather armor maybe? Thanks for sharing, the grosso is awesome and I always love seeing your different ancient projectile weapon artifacts, lovely spread! :occasion14:

Those are some great finds.

I would think that your 'stamped bullet drilled for a necklace' is actually a lead seal and was made as such. This one happens to be Roman. Ignore the design, because I'm not showing that for comparison... but compare the back, including the hole running across it. You'll see that same kind of construction through to the medieval period too.

Very nice Vince, what a great assortment of history. Liking the Doge Jacopo Contarini silver, great condition.
In the photo "other stuff" lower left corner is that a bronze spear point?

Excellent group of finds.

Is that a medieval horseshoe the nails are attached to?

And that middle eastern coin (5th from the bottom) appears to have been made in 1839 (1, "backwards 7", 0 0 using the Solar Hejira)

Here is a link to a great site ( Creo-unity Time Machine ) to help anyone that is interested in figuring out dates for many older foreign coins using different Chronological systems. It takes some time to get used to how it works but can be really helpful. The different countries to choose from is on the left side of the page.
