I decided to hunt in the river and stay cool. Didn't find anything notable but a Timex watch in about 4 inches of gravel. It's still running. Based on the crud, corrosion and depth in the bottom it wasn't a new drop.

cool. took my son on a hunt about 20 years ago and he found a women's Seiko about 3 inches deep in a vacant lot and it was still running

I liked the ad where he attached the watch to a prop on a boat engine. Used to be a Timex museum in Waterbury, CT but it went bust. Wonder where all the watches went......

Good fun dip,the batteries in my Timex have been in there for a real long time.Yours is certainly water tight.
