I installed the Minelab Equinox 3.0 software update the other day and have been anxious to try it out. I like to use parks to test new machines and software updates because of the variety of targets that they hold. I have found some leftover silver at this particular park in the past, so I figured that I would try my luck while testing the new Equinox software. At best, I figured that I might dig a wheat penny, maybe a silver Roosevelt dime. I was not however expecting this;

The park was donated to the city around 1919, the land belonged to a wealthy family and was actively used prior to being a city park. This is one of the hardest hit sites in my area, and just look what was still there! This hobby is wild!

This hobby is wild! Nice large Mike, can't believe it came out of there. Maybe there's a few seated coins kicking around!

We don't find LC's every day cudamark...it's more like every other day. Congrats to you ss! It's always great to find a coin that more or less pre-dates the property. Well done!!!
