The Silver Streak is Dead...

Started on Bag Seal City (Roman Site) & gridded for 2 hours 45 mins. (Pictures 2-6)Managed:
8 Roman Coins
4 Bag Seals & bits...

Moved after lunch to the newly named 'Foil Field', but maybe naming it killed it for us. The hotspot sizzled out & so did the hammered.
(Picture 1)
1 Scrappy
1 Mystery Iron Age (Celtic) partifact
18th C Button (type I need)
Roman Lead Spindal Whorl
15th C Medieval Belt Mount with mirrored Lombardic 'S' (these are normally associated with shrines like a Pilgrims Badge, not sure which 'S' shrine it is)
17th Leather Mount
Bits...

5 hours total detecting.

Looks high kt Gold.
I think I see the remains of a hinge on the reverse which makes me think it was a lockett.(along with the recess) Without a hallmark dating it will be tricky. I'm guessing 19th C.
This was my lesser day post in some time, we have had a good run.
