Here’s my 2 cents no literally three of them !

Haven’t posted for a while . I’ve been finding ok stuff some large cents and a little silver , but this find I thought was worth posting! Last week I started hitting a new spot in the neighboring town. I found an 1837 and a 1842 large cent fairly close together ! So yesterday decided to go back and after two hours of hitting the spot I found nothing so I decided to turn back . I decided to walk what I think is an old oxen trail ( I’ll take pictures next time I go out there ) when all of the sudden I get a copper target ! I pulled an 1864 2 cent then 4 feet away I got an 1866 and then 3 feet from there I pull a square nail and another 1866 2 cent ! Before yesterday I had dug 2 total in my life! Not a bad day ! Oh I also found a silver ring.

Wow ... three 2 Cents in one day - that's a day to remember for sure - congrats !

I've found (6) in the last 11 years - (5) of them are 1865's and the other one's a 1867.
I mainly hunt with my Deus now but all the Two Cent's I found with my E-Trac came in on the exact same target ID numbers as Wheat Cents !
So... from what I've learned - if your hunting with an E-Trac - don't ever stop digging Wheat's !

That's pretty cool digging three 2-centers on back-to-back-to-back signals. I have dug around 10 of hem an once found two on back-to-back signals.
