D4069C9D-85E0-4EB3-840B-81D537A893FE.jpeg Jimmy D. And I took off 30 minutes South of Tahlequah and had a decent day. He found a handful of wheats, and I found a 1945 Merc, a 1947 Rosie, some Wheats, and the broach looking piece I believe is Silver but haven’t checked it yet. Hit Silver #14fty without the broach piece. A cool old button missing the back. I’ll have to see if I can I.D. It. It was pretty hot and muggy here, but getting out detecting made it a Fun day:) Happy Hunting!!!! Acid tested the broach looking piece. It is Silver. Guess it helps if you look at the directions for PuriTest to make sure you’re doing it right. So Silver#15fty!
Close up of the button. Any Info it?

That's a nice bunch of finds RJ. The broach piece looks old. If its silver, that's a bonus. We're finally getting some better weather up here in New England. Thank goodness for Fall.

Great hunt RJ, I had found a similar button a long time ago. And you had me researching it a gain. The letters are JTE. And it appears these were popular coat blazer buttons. I would love to know what the letters stand for but the button seems to remain a mystery. There have been others posted on here.

Glad you got a good hunt in!! IMG_20200912_074413709_MP~2.jpg
