Hey I have an old timer who used to metal detect and he was in the railroad business for 40 years and this is what he said”THE POLICE BADGE IS ONE OF A KIND OF A KIND TO FIND. YOU DON'T SEE THAT AT ALL. THAT BADGE WAS A POLICEMAN FOR THE PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD COMPANY. THAT IS A GREAT GREAT FIND!!!” He really enjoyed seeing your picture which led to a two hour conversation about his life in the railroad business. I can tell you that the badge you found put a sparkle in the eye of a old timer and fellow detectorist. Congratulations on finding something very precious with him.
