Joe and I hit the strawberry fields this afternoon, found a few wheat pennies and clad before getting a nice solid target on the Deus. Was happy to see silver in the dirt, but...

So it begs the question: what is your most disappointing find? Would love to hear your stories and see your photos!

I would love to find an old silver half dollar that was shot! Congratulations on a great find! I bet you a walker you'll never find another shot half.
Grats and thanks for sharing.

That’s a bullet hole.

That makes it extra cool. You will find another Walker, but I bet it won’t have a bullet hole in it.

Most disappointing? Your find doesn’t come close to disappointing! Nice chunk of silver.

I would still be very happy. How many people do you know even here on TreasureNet that have a silver coin with a bullet hole through it.

You my friend are one of a kind!!!

Strawberry Fields for Cheffer? Bad attempt at Beatles humor - sorry. Even with the bullet hole, that is still a beauty, in my opinion. Congrats.

Its a shame someone had to ruin that coin, but at least its yours now. One of my most disappointing finds ? A gold colored coin that I thought was going to be a $20.00 gold piece, and it turned out to be a Readers Digest token !

As others have said, that's a pretty unique find with a bullet hole in it.

My most disappointing find was just a couple of weeks ago when I saw a dollar sized gold foil in the bottom of the hole that turned out to be an aluminum container from
the NJ Rubber company (and yes it was .... and I'm very glad to say it was empty. )

I find my most disappointing find pretty much everyday. Nickel signals that are pull tabs. The runner up would be zinc penny’s...

That’s a unique walker you dug! Congrats! :occasion14

Mine is the BEAUTIFUL shining gold bottle cap AT THE BEACH with a pinch of sand perfectly centered on the cap so that it looks like a ring.

TRUE STORY!
