Hey everyone,

Been fairly productive swinging the past half dozen hunts. Been working this one wooded area that held some history back in the 1880s.

Nothing really old coin and silver wise. But I did find a folded in half civil war token. Sucks I bent it back out and salvaged what I could.

One notable relic was a world War two pin converted into a bracelet. It was given to soldiers who saw face to face combat with an armed enemy.

It was a neat surprise. Area im working is grown in. I'm sure there is more there. It's trashy so you can never get it all.

Was nice to make the 100 mark again. Corona helped I was off for a month and hunted a pretty good bit.

16 silvers gives me 103. Its been a good year. I hope to hit it hard this fall and see if i can save any more history out there.

Thanks for looking

Jer

That's the kind of ground I'd love to work! A rich mix of finds. There's plenty more there for sure. Congrats on finding virgin territory!

That's a lot of good targets, even for half a dozen hunts. Of your 103 silvers, do you know how many are coins and how many are other silver items?

That is a Combat Infantry Badge (CIB). True, it is earned by infantry men who have participated in ground combat action. A EIB - Expert Infantry Badge (Same badge minus the wreath) is earned by demonstrating proficiency in infantry skills. Neat find.

That's a very impressive silver total! The pandemic has resulted in me having more time out digging too...small silver lining!

Thank you for all the comments guys.

Probably about 85 coins Steve. Other silvers are misc.

Hope to get some good hunting in as it cools off and dies out here soon.

Silver is always tough to come by. I try and put myself in areas that will produce it and have been lucky to keep finding it steadily.

Good luck out there guys.
