These finds are the results of Three days of dirt fishing around two different permissions. One is an early 1900's house built for the School Superintendent of an Old School Academy, the other permission was around an early 1900's two story brick school house. The owner of the brick school house said he was a coin collector so to ensure continued permission around this old school house I handed him a handful of Wheat Pennies I had found in his yard and he was tickled to death and excited to clean them up and check the dates. This Old Guy turned this old school house into his residence, said he bought the property and building in 1971 for $3000, and the two story brick building is huge.

Hello, permissions are where its at around Omaha, have dug into a few this year also around Omaha. You have some really good finds there, the people we meet along the way are also a good part of this hobby. The Indian heads look in great shape too. Good job !

Beautiful key as well!

I believe the key is made to wind up a clock. Maybe for an old mantel clock of grandfather clock. I was very happy to find a key like that.

I'd say more likely for a jewelry box or liquor cabinet.
