There is a small park right around the corner from my house, that I must have spent at least 40 hours in this summer and fall. There was once a school there from 1869 until it burned down in 1909, and now it's just a field with 2 basketball courts and a baseball field on it today. I have pulled a ton of clad, 2 Canadian large cents, A 1919 and a 1888, 3 IHP's the oldest being an 1886 and the newest an 1896, a bunch of wheaties from the 40's and a few nice old relics here and there. So after a few of my other spots dried up, I decided to go back there today, and I'm glad I did. Right away I found a small spill of 3 wheaties within a foot or so of each other. I just felt there had to be some silver around there somewhere, so I slowed down and I got this weird high signal that was bouncing between 66 and 80, I dug it, and there it was, my first Mercury dime! A nice 1942! At this point it's starting to get dark and I just know there has got to be more, I mean why not right? And about 3 feet away from the Merc, I got a deep Quarter signal and popped a 1941 Washington! Just when I was beginning to think that I have picked this park clean, It pulls me back in!! Guess where I'll be on my next day off? :laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

If you hit it with another detector it might find signals your usual detector missed. My friend had a different detector than mine and he went over an area I had gridded out and he hit three silvers my machine missed. He has like 6 or 7 different detectors and he will find things one machine missed on ground he has been over time after time.

Nice! We have a park like that where I live. Be patient, go slow, and let that park produce more great finds for you!
