Hey friends!
Detected a couple prior permissions where I had previously only hunted the front yard and this time concentrated more on the sides and back yard. Same line we’ve all heard before “You’ll probably not find anything as so many people have detected this yard”
Sure glad I did because they missed a few!
The 1846 LC was a big surprise as the home was built in 1871. Was happy with the detail on that one. Was probably only 6” deep which is funny cause I was digging clad at the same depth.
3[SUP]rd[/SUP] SLQ I’ve ever dug but first one with a date (1930)
1882 IHP and 20 Wheaties ranging from 1909-58D. 2 were 1909 but no VDB
A few fun relics. Lantern twister has an 1862 patent date.
Love Fall — great time to dig. Good luck out there!

Since that site had been hunted many times before you certainly scored big.

Absolutely gorgeous Large Cent and lots of other great finds! That Large Cent looks like it was dropped straight from the U.S. Mint...

Thank you! Not sure - The back has an outlined space where I would expect some sort of inscription, however, there isn’t any inscription on it

Great finds! I love SLQ's, so seeing a nice one with a date is awesome, but that LC- WOW! One of the best I can ever recall seeing- Congrats!
