First Wheat Penny found in an old drive in theater spot turned baseball/football field. I am sure I will not be able to clean it up.

Nice. Always a good day in my book when a wheat or two pops out of the ground. Think I got spoiled the first time I ever detected I found a 1919 wheat. They will come up more often now. Especially at an old drive in area.

Started with a Minelab xterra 505. Then Equinox 600 with stock coil, xl coil and sinper coil depending on circumstances. Now use a manticore.

A 1st on a hunt is always a good hunt. I've never tried the peroxide method. Only mineral oil on cooper coins.
