After our last 4 hammered outing we would have been happy with just 1, but expecting none....
It was a little showery & sticky but overall pretty good going.
We gridded for only 5 hours today as we got what we needed.:laughing7:

I don't see you guys finding many 'holed' coins of this vintage, you obviously do, I guess I just never noticed them before. :laughing7:

Nonetheless holed roman coins seem to be pretty rare here too. I have a few, but not clearly late roman/early medieval related.

Great find with Celtic silver. :notworthy: Is Celtic gold more commonly found than Celtic silver, and if so, are the silver coins more valuable to collectors owing to rarity?
