todays bottles (more pics added)

I drove past a construction site and saw glittering piles of dirt today so I had to stop and look. I got a pretty good haul of bottles but here are the highlights. 2 different versions of Mrs. Winslows Soothing Syrup (aka "The Baby Killer") that I didn't have, a nice St. Jakobs oil from Baltimore, and a Steubenville Drug Co from Ohio. I brought home about 20 bottles all together and I'm sure there are more but it was getting dark and I seem to have lost my flashlight from my truck.

Once I get the rest cleaned I'll add more pics if there's anything good

Great bottles!!! I hope you were able to get more. Sounds like a great place to swing the detector also. I sold a heath and vranesich bottle I found from Pueblo. It was such a nice one I should have kept it.

Nice score on the bottles, it seems that the small medicines survive more often when there's digging going on. St Jacobs is a familiar name but not the others. Congrats
Looking forward in seeing them and others cleaned up.

Here's the rest of the keeper's from yesterday minus a couple slicks. This spot is near where the river used to be before it was moved, and some of the glass has a slight purple tint which makes me think this was an open dump for a while before it was finally buried.

We have three inks, a Waterman's, a Carter's 1897, and a Thomas

Almost forgot these, they were still in the truck... 2 1880's whiskeys and a beer

One whiskey marked Wisconsin Glass Co and the other one is unmarked, but is very similar

I just posted in your other thread on this and about a experience I had while working for the local UG utility.

Some great looking bottles there!
