    Seminole War Fort Find Fresh Out of the Ground

Went to finally get my Covid vaccine this afternoon and thought I would hit my fort site on the way home. Pulled out this hand made lead hat insignia. It’s one of my all time favorite finds. I believe it to be company B 2nd Infantry who was at the fort in 1840.
