Earlier this week I post a caulking iron thinking it was a tomahawk. Thinks to treasure net I learned what a caulking iron was. Well today I went back and down below the plow line I found the axe on the left. I'd call it a tomahawk because it's so small. I was excited. Found the other axe and piece of pottery too that mark was on another thread and I think they said it was around 1837. I see what you mean, probably the only way is electrolyse, heat to dry, then wax the head. This will stop the decay of the head that id well on it's way of decaying.

I would recommend that you post this up in the North American Indian Artifacts

Thanks for the pics.

Oh don’t you love it I know you do I found two tomahawks last year and the Indian Shellmound that one of my prize possessions. Are you gonna do electrolysis on them or just leave them alone?
Either way I love them
