First Civil War Hunt of 2021

My first CW hunt of 2021 was good and bad. It was a very good bullet spot....I might go an hour or so with no results, then pick up 5 or 10 in just a few minutes. I ended up with 60 bullets (a couple had been pulled) and several other neat relics.
The bad part was that both times I pulled a plug with a button back and shank exposed, the front of the button fell into tiny pieces....bad dirt I guess.
I can't wait for the next hunt.

60 Civil War bullets would be an excellent day for me, because I live in Illinois and don't have the opportunity to find much of anything Civil War. I've picked up a couple of buttons in the fields, and that's it. Great finds in my opinion.

Same issue here in Central Florida. I am a few Counties too far South for any real activity and Florida as a whole saw only a few (but rather big) battles however. Jealous!! Great finds!

Another jealous IL hunter here. The only thing we have here that's Civil War related is soldier graves in the cemetery. You're lucky to have that spot! Gary
