Since they're calling for snow tonight I decided a short walk was in order today. Was cold and some southern exposed hills were open. So, I hopped from one clear spot to another. Got about 2 hours.

Too bad Blingie was snoozing. ;)

Great looking silver ring Whadi, great that you were able to get in a hunt in February. :occasion14:

Nice finds Whadi. Glad you were able to get out. I haven't been out in 3 weeks because of this deep freeze and the amount of snow we have. Ground is frozen solid, and the snow is deep. Looks like it might be another month or so before it all thaws out.

It goes right back to the (now) old saying....โ€the real treasure is the hunt itselfโ€. Being able to hunt in February? Not around here! Itโ€™ll be the end of April before the ground is thawed enough to have ANY chance. We have 2 feet of snow also and with how cold itโ€™s been for so long...could be well into May. The ground is like cast iron right now.

Congrats, Sir. Pretty indeed. It may be a few weeks before I will venture out. I am not as tough as most on here. A fair weathered digger type. So, I am impressed at your venturing out.

Well done Sir! Nice score on the silver ring and in the middle of winter!!
Congrats!
Blingie may demand a review of treasure upon awakening.

...uh... you have a flame thrower?? ..may need to borrow it.
How does that go?.. neither sleet, nor ice, nor 6 ft. of snow shall keep WHADIFIND from his treasure find!
