While searching a new permission that is very close to the area I found a KMA Cartridge Box Plate, I found what appeared to be a virgin camp site. After pulling camp lead, I started finding ball and buck that had been cast. I found a dropped 3 ring and then this beauty. A small letter or Virginia Style CSA buckle. I had to sit there and just take it in for a minute. My brother knew I found something good because I kept telling him to get over here. It got dark on us and it is pouring rain today, but we will be back for sure.

This is a truly incredible find Elvis and I do realize you just made the BANNER with your 'KMA Cartridge Box Plate' find. :hello2:
But, I firmly believe that if you had started your thread with the title 'Virginia Style CSA Buckle Found', that this buckle is BANNER worthy as well.
When you're hot, you're hot my friend... I'm voting BANNER for your Virginia Style CSA Buckle find. :occasion14:

Elvis, I'm just curious, would be so kind as to post a pic of the back and front of this buckle cleaned up for us? :icon_scratch:

Thanks,
Dave

I'd have heart failure if that popped out of the ground. First of all, I would be expecting a beer can. (My one and only plate (Union) gave a beer can signal, and it was right next to an actual beer can that I just dug... LOL). Second, I'd expect it to be a Union plate, and when I saw the CSA, I'd just flip out. Congrats!!!!!

I was in shock for sure. I had to sit down for a minute and take it in.
