Back to my uncles property, back in December I traded manual labor for him to use his excavator and dig up an old foundation I hunted to death. That’s when I found my first GW#12.
After that dig we still had a massive mound left over.
Occasionally I would stop by and have it and take it down little by little, most of the time with no luck. My buddy made a home made sifter and wanted to test it out. Two hours after that experience with only finding pottery pieces, I decided to tackle one side of the mound with a corona rake. Every 6” I removed I scanned. Sweet sounding 21-24 signal on the nox got me the decorated button first, then 1 minute later with the same signal I received my 2nd GWI#12.
What a feeling!
Thank you and appreciate you looking
