First Largie

It’s been a while. Life hit pretty hard, haven’t really been out detecting for a few years.
I went to an old farm, plenty of trash around in the ground. But then I got a mixed signal about 8-10” down.
I dug and out came this beautiful looking 1851 Largie!
I have only pulled one other largie and it was wiped so I could not identify.
A few other finds to tag along with it made my return to detecting well worth it!

She is in great condition too! Too often they come out as a crusty nasty thing. You got a good one.

Thanks guys! She did come out a beaut! I’m going to hit the place up again with my sniper coil and hopefully get by some of the trash.

The LC is a dandy! When you return to the site besides using a sniper coil also consider going 45 & 90 degrees out from the direction you detected before. Good luck
