    I think they call these "beaver tails." I'm hoping to get an age or era on it to help me date the site it came from....Thanks!

    I've found sooo many of those over the years..

    How about a bottle cap that has an extra piece making it look like a baseball cap? I have one I dug in the 80's that's in nice shape.

    I found one of those when i was a kid - those are rare
    that pulltab might be rare from where he is from ...I get them all over up here
    i think that is where the "tab" comes from - the others should be called "pull rings"

    Beaver tails are more like the ring type - actual beaver tails are rounded and dont look like that
