This was our last big area grid on the Spring Beans that had been drilled into a large patch of failed oil-seed rape, as they were beginning to sprout.
Once again we were gridding far away from the Celtic area & we aimed to get 1 hammered for the day. After 6 hours gridding we had 1 each.

0 Scrappies (thats unusual for us)

The small silver item sort of looks like a button that the shank got ripped/fell out.
Got a better pic/ can only enlarge it once.

The small silver item sort of looks like a button that the shank got ripped/fell out.
I can see why you thought that but its not a button. It was soldered on the end of something with its manufacturing details on it (company name etc), something like a riding crop.
