1880's club check and a 3 piece blue bottle at a 150 year old park

Hi all,Kind of getting real hot here, so today i took to too the shade of one of the old parks in the area.had to hunt on the outside of the park as digging is no allowed in main area.yes i too have restrictions on some sites that includes public schools and parks.On the hill next to the park i did find an 1880's club check.A check is a token used by tavern owners to allow them to serve drinks after hours.Kind of cunning but not illegal. .I found this blue 3 piece down the other side hill.No sure on its age. Heres a pic of the old park taken from the hill top i hunted and the finds

Where are you that it would of been "hot"? Can't be in the US, seeing it is winter here.

Nice finds Dave,we have had showers most days for the last week,only just done the lawns
and now I have to do them again.HH.

we had little rain in my area of Victoria.part of a thunderstorm last wednesday and the parks are watered with re-cycled sewage water If we don,t get rain we will be drinking it too :P :P :P

Hi Dave. Nice bottle and the club check ain't to shabby either! We keep forgetting that you're Downunder and it's summer time for you now. I spent a week there in December of 1969 on RR from VietNam. I must addmit, it's one of the prettiest places in the world I have been to. I wish I could have stayed longer! Happy Hunting and stay cool........
