This was a crazy little hunt I found two of those glass electrical things pretty cool I wanna spoon lead round thing another glass piece that would kind of look like something in a bathtub but it doesn?t have any innards or anything I thought it was cool some flat thing made of something and I got all across the no telling what it was nickel so I cleaned it and it?s a 1896 V. And last but not least the old dog came up with the three ringer I have found over 3 ringers of all sizes and all dropped in a 50 x 50 spot that just looks like every other piece of grass at this park. It?s never hunted out. Thank you for letting me share my day. The old Nickel View recent photos 2.png

Nice haul Truth. Always nice to get a straight spoon. I like the clear glass piece. Any threads inside? Maybe a unique insulator or a bottle/decanter topper.

Awesome finds! Depending on the size of the lead round thing, it may be a seal for a CW era can. Didn't they used to use lead seals? Great job!!

.... neat stuff, my guess would be a decanter top. Insulators are always cool. The cleanup job on that nickel looks good. Your going to have that process figured out..

No threads at all Gene. That?s what got my curiosity on the clear piece. I don?t know why I like it I just do. There is absolutely no threads or anything except what you see image-2021-08-25-23:13:36-005.jpg

Congrats Truth! Some really nice finds and the cleanup on the nickel is great.

If you have any Roachdale Nichols this way is the best half freeze straight vinegar when you take it out your freezer you gotta want to drain the rest of that vinegar which leaves like a slushy. which leads you with like a slushy. Then give a splash of peroxide peroxide . Leaf sit for a couple hours [emoji631]
