Got out with a friend today for about 4 hours. Decided to give it one last shot before the impending snowstorm. We hit 2 1800's farmhouses. Nothing but wheats at the first one. Then we went to the other, which had produced some goodies for us this past summer.
Tried some new spots on the property.
I found this 1914 Barber quarter, at about 5 inches. My buddy found his oldest Injun (and oldest coin to date), just moments after. Hunted for about another hour in the snow flurries, with no more luck.
So that's really it for the year now. We're getting hammered with snow as I type this. (About 6 inches already). So no chance of getting out to swing tomorrow.
Anyway, thanks for looking!
Happy New Years Everyone!
TBK.
