I met with TnT2000 and MarkGPa for a short hunt after work this afternoon. I found my First Virginia Halfpenny 1773. The scanned pics don't show much detail but it looks a little better than the picture. The date is not readable but according to the redbook it looks like they were only made in 1773. I also got a 1925 wheatie and a flat button. Any suggestions on cleaning the Halfpenny would be appreciated. I don't think it is of much value but I would like to make it a little more readable.
Thanks for looking
Ken

WTG Ken, they are not the easiest coin to find outside of Virginia, so congrats on getting one...

EXCELLENT FIND!!!!!

For cleaning questions, PM Don in South Jersey. He'll probably recommend the peroxide method.
