wow great details any chance you could show us how it was done

Buy a loupe, which is the type magnifying glass that you use to look at gems. I bought mine on ebay. It is a BelOMO Triplet 10X. I put my camera lense against the loupe lense, look through the viewfinder until it is focused clearly, and snap. It took a few trial shots, but it works great.

Nice 1/2 dime and a great pic! (not easy to take a pic as good as that through a loupe)

Actually it was not too hard at all. Perhaps it depends on what type of camera you have. I have a Canon S-200, which is an older digital. It has a mode where you can get within about 3" from an object for a close-up which is OK. But man when I used the loupe, you can see the results, absolutely complete detail. Thanks for your comments, BP

So what exactly is the mill? How did you find it? Do you have any pictures of "the mill"???!?!

Yes sir, the post was 18 Jan, titled "Mill trip #4. several more good finds " in Today's Finds Forum. I have several other posts earlier this month with pics from hunting the mill. Just look for posts with comisoas. Happy Hunting, take care, Bryan
