Hi all. I thought I would post this find I made at an old cemetery dated 1814 ad. I found her with my Xlt with the stock coil at 6
inches down. I still remember the rush I got when I pulled her out of the ground. she is my oldest silver coin and I found her in Canada. I would love to find Victorian silver but the 1853 Seated half dime will do me just fine. I hope you enjoy the pics.

Lots of detail left on that half dime. Do you recall the VDI number?
Good pics too thanks.

Sorry that it wasn't a Canadian coin, but it's a beauty anyway. I found one of those, same date, in an old park last month. It really causes a rush. WTG

That's great. According to my current Coin Value Magazine it's value is appears to be in the $35 to $75 range. Just a rough estimate of the retail value. Great find!!
