5/8/05 finds

I went to my elem. school for 1 hr today.It was built in the 60s.Found 3 nickels, earliest a 64.1 penny-88and didnt even cover 1/10 of the area.I also went to a house 2hrs.found sqaure nails,a very old open end wrench,old butter knife , and I think a heel plate.I dont have a dig. camera.Can anyone help with info on heel plates?

I hit the fairgrounds at Crete Ne for about an hour today.

Right around the ballfield concession stand I covered walking swath next to the side walk, found 2 quarters, a dime, two pennies and a buttload of bottletops, pulltabs, and foil crap but it got me away from the cackling women at my mother-in-laws!!!!!

My first find with my 150 was a heel plate. Is a cresent with three spikes. Congrats and HH.
