Corroded 1834 English Copper & 1889 Indian Head

Ever since finding the 1877 Seated Liberty Half Dollar the day before Thanksgiving I've been in a minor dry spell. I've been out hunting a dozen or so times since then but hadn't found anything of note. Today I went back to the field where I found the Seated Half, the 1737 King George II Copper, and the 1877 Seated Quarter and came up with a very corroded 1834 English Copper, an 1889 Indian Head Penny, and a small decorated button.

Nice find Bookfisher! It's pretty amazing that the date was still intact on the 1834 copper! Too bad they don't fair well... I haven't found many but most are toast :)

Hey Kyle and Kirk, thanks for the accolades - I think my head just got bigger.
By the way, there was a typo in my initial post - the King George was actually 1737.

Hey bookfisher.........I know the feeling! Not really............lolol But it does happen, I think when you find great coins like that ,we just happen to think the ground is just full of them and in the process of trying to find that large silver or what ever it is your looking for ...... again!! interrupts our concentration and were probably passing over that small target .....Now that's what I think. I'm sure the next time out you will find something good! As long as it old...............HH
