Almost Rained Out, But 1st Ring

It rained most of the day yesterday, but cleared up just before I got off work. I searched the car park at the race track across the street from my house for about 45 minutes, and came up with this old ring, ( no inscription ), and 2 coins.
The larger one is a bronze English penny, dated 1936. The smaller one is a 2 pence.

I will have to get the ring looked at.
The 2-pence is not old, its from 1984.
