back to the 1942 honey hole today, still lots to dig out there...haven't got the rest cleaned up, but I just had to post one of my best finds of all time. And I do mean best considering the large cents, early silvers, gold rings...when it comes right down to it, Yogi rocks :-)

Not in bad shape either, considering it's just plated. I think it's a bit newer than the other artifacts I've been digging, not exactly sure when yogi came around. Either way, just a very unusal piece that gets a place of honor in the display cases.

well, that was my thought too...I really do consider this one of my best finds ever. I've been digging for alotta years, pulled plenty of old coins...but after awhile coins are just coins. Yogi spoon is something I'll keep and treasure forever.
