I had an hour to kill today so I put the 6" coil on the Nautilus and headed out to an old farmhouse (long gone) that I've hunted maybe a dozen times without a lot of success. The place is littered with iron and pieces of melted aluminum. I must be getting areas cleaned out enough that I can finally see through the debris. I found the old button thing about 10" deep underneath a big square nail but the Naut saw it. Then the Indian followed by the 1909 wheat. It was getting so dark I swung my way back to the truck and had a last solid hit turned out to be a 1953 wheat. I think I'll reconsider this place as being a viable site. I had about given up on it.

P.S. my Nikon digital died yesterday and I have a new camera I wanted to try out.
Seems to work well!

That's a sweet-looking Indian. . . I have yet to find one. Is there a VDB on the back of that '09?

Great hunt!
