Hi I'm Hunter, I'm rather new here and very happy to be a member.

I don't have a camera so I scanned the coins.

I found an old tree house in the woods behind my house. All that remains are a few pieces of rotted wood nailed to a tree as a ladder. Well anyway I searched A circle around the base and worked my way out.

The coins were only about two inches deep, the Indian cents were at the base of the tree. The wheat's were scattered about, the 1931s was about 12 feet from the base of the tree.

I have to go back here again I only finished about a third of the area.

Re: Old tree house

Nice group of coins. I will have to remember your idea of hunting under tree houses.
It has been added to my list of many locations to hunt. Thanks for the idea.

Oh wow! Great finds and thanks for the tip.

You just reminded me of some old tree forts my brother and I found when we were kids. The one was about 50' up an absolutely huge fir tree. The rope swing broke and dumped us in the blackberry bushes, so it had probably been there a while. Might have to go back with a detector and see what's there. :)
