Ping - The guy from Venice Beach Florida last Monday

I met a guy on the beach last Monday and we talked for a bit about detecting. He asked if I was a member here I told him I was, but it was another site I am also a memeber, I got confused. But anyway we talked about beach hunting and the history of the Venice area back in WWII. He was using a Minelab Excaliber. Well later that morning I found what could be an artifact from when they flew military aircraft from the Venice area. I think it's a round from an aircraft gun. Sorry the pic isn't so good. I need a better camera for close-up pictures.
