Got permission to look my neighbors old homeplace today.

Found 23 Memorials
4 wheaties...41,44,48, and 56D
3 clad dimes
1 nickle
a VW thingy ???
a 1950 Rosie ;D
and some odds and ends

Yard is fairly big. Bad thing is the house has been remodeled with new siding and there are small scraps of aluminum all around the house. I found the 50 Rosie in the edge of the yard....close to an old outbuilding.

My neighbor took a break from mowing to see what I had found. When I showed him the Rosie he said I might find some gold. It was his wifes peoples house back in the day and the last man that owned it told the new owners that he didnt get all of his stuff....anything that was left either keep or throw away. They ended up finding 4 gold coins.

I think I will be back for some more searching. If he left 4 gold coins laying around.....no telling what else might be hid or buried.

Too bad its broke :'( I found the back half first.....checked the hole and found the front half also. At least I didnt break it.......you can look at the edge and tell its an old break. I would have been bummed if I had broke it.

Thanks JT.....thats about how bright my grin was when it popped out of the whole too ;D
