Couldn't find my A$$ with both hands tonight.

What a terrible night of hunting (at least for me.) Mastereagle was digging silver like crazy and I just kept on trying to isolate good signals and I guess there was too much junk for me to zone in. I should have done like him and dug everything. He was digging like a badger....dirt flying verywhere...grunting and digging. He was hopping around the yard on that lesche like a pogo stick from one place to another. He had so much stuff that he had dug, we had to pull my truck up to the curb so he could fill the back bed as he detected.

I guess we have had a roll reversal of sorts, since he and I are now singing the others tune. He is now finding everything and I couldn't find something if it was in my detecting pouch. Here are my meager finds....it's embarrasing. :-[

I think this was an old clay marble. I was digging up a piece of junk purported to be silver by my XLT and ran across this.

A very tiny threaded nut of some kind. Looks like a tension nut for something spring loaded maybe.

BB.

Ok....don't forget....you have to think the proverbial thought..........."What would MasterEagle do" and then divorce yourself from the thoughts of this world....and thinking only of finding the unfindable.............and click the heels of your shoes together 3 times and say...."There is no place like CTH2"......and................you should be cured.

Cool marble, I find a good many of them at an old school that I detect.
Good luck on your next outing. :icon_sunny:

Sorry you did not find more goodies my friend although it looks pretty good to me. I loved your post though...the picture you painted of M.E. using a Lesche as a pogo stick was priceless! Hopefully you will start running neck and neck on finds soon and you can both celebrate!

He was hopping around the yard on that lesche like a pogo stick from one place to another. :sign10: Priceless!

Sorry you had a dry spell. Hopefully that will change for you soon. :)

Re: Couldn't find my A$$ with both hands tonight.

Ok Ok so he has now let my secret out. I had my Lesche redesigned to incorporate a spring loaded feature.

Not only does it make the digging easier but it is SOOOOOOO much fun! :tongue3: ;D

Looks to me like you did find some things. That clay marble is cool! You didn't tell me you found that! I found a wheel just like the one you have on Saturday. Don't know what it goes to but still cool.

The last time we were at this place you found TWO mercs and I found ONE!!! And I haven't found a silver half dollar like someone who shall remain nameless.

But what it all boils down to BB is very SIMPLE! You refused to wear your TuTu at the LBH and now you are paying for it!!!!! I suggest you wear it to work. It will greatly increase your luck...... ::) :tard: :tongue3:  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

You win some, you loose some. . . (I know. . . it's even worse when you loose to M.E.22 :P)

Better days will come

You got *some* stuff. And it was all different (i.e. not just rusty nails). Maybe you used up the luck in not getting cut from that blade -that's a little scary lookin'.

Hang in there, you know the pendulum swings back the other direction eventually. Usually

Glad you were able to get out there, glad you found *something*

Well at least you are man enough to admit it. I would deny I was even there. ;D ;D

That's what happens a lot when you hunt private homes - little hot pockets turn up and you have to give the other guys their space.

Good luck on future hunts.

Looks far better than MY clad finds at the sports park!

From the spread, looks to me you would not have missed anything if the coil had passed over it.

Luck of the draw...

Sometimes it goes your way, other times it may not.

As you well know, persistence is the key to success!
