I have not been able to get any good long hunts lately but just an hour here and there. I was on vacation for three weeks seeing family and I only got to hunt about an hour in Kentucky and an hour in North Caralina but nothing amazing on those hunts.I did find a pistil ball and a 1953 rabies tag in NC but that was about it. I have hunted a bit in since getting back and today I found a couple of cool things. After digging a half bag of pull tabs I found what I thought was a police badge but after getting it out of the ground I saw that it had a dial on it and it says "Captain Midnight Secret Squadron" .The first thing I thought of was the little orphan secret decoder pin on the movie a Christmas Story. I was pretty stoked and about ten feet away I dug a 1964 half penny and then a 1937 one penny . I guess some kid was playing around with his dads souvenirs from England and lost em in the yard. Good for me. ;D
A couple of days ago I dug a cracker jack mystery club token with Herbert Hoover on it . I am starting to really like collecting this type of stuff. The only silver I have found in the past month or so was a 63 Rosie and I found a buffalo nickle and some wheatys the other day also . Nothing amazing or banner worthy but as long as I can get out and dig I am happy . Thanks for looking and HH.

Nice decoder! I remember Captain Midnight, not well, but it seems like it was one of those Saturday morning shows. You stirred an old memory! Thanks.
