Lone Star/ Bounty Hunter
Hello, Well I just got my Bounty Hunter Lone star detector. I took it out today around my parents back yard. I found a 2 1/2 Panama coin and some tag with the number 123. I would like to hear from anyone who might know what the tag is from. Also I tried to clean the coin in vineagar and jewelry cleaner, still cant get all the dirt off with out scratching it. So if anyone has any ideas of how to get it clean let me know. So I don't think I did to bad for my first time out. I really cant wait to hit the beaches!!

Hi HFox, welcome to TreasureNet. Nice finds AND your first hunt

Something about the 123 reminds me of a key.
Old Hotel or Post Office Box type key :icon_scratch:

Welcome to Tnet and the detecting addiction! You did very good there and that tag is kinda cool....I would think maybe a key tag as well. Perhaps someone would have more ideas as to what it is. Keep at it and have a great time. Looking forward to hearing more from you.
