this is not a todays find. i found this quite some time ago at an old home site. i ran across it tonight when i was going through some of my previous finds. it came out of the ground with a really pretty green patina. i took it to a man that polishes metals and he said it was pure brass. he did an excellant job of polishing and bringing out the beauty and character of this old door knob. it's extremely ornate and weighs exactly 7-oz according to my digital scales. i just thought yall might want to see it. as promised, i'm still planning on posting some of my finds from previous years in the near future. have a great evening everyone.
