Way 2 go Zeke !!! Nice finds !
That thing in the upper right hand corner of the photo. Do you know what it is ? Someone else on here a few days ago found a couple of them and was wondering what it was.

I had a feeling something was up with the signal I got on my Ace 250. I pulled the Mercury out from about 5"....checked the hole and nothing else. I just happen to check the plug....after putting it back in the hole....and the 51 Rosie was on edge at about 3".

Im not sure what it is.....Alot of watch/clock parts has came out of her back yard.

The back of the buckle........

Thanks guys......I was beginning to think I had dug her yard out.

Anybody know anything about the buckle? Would it be silver plated?

Congrats on your first merc!!!
Nice buckle too... I have found a few Hickok buckles myself, one brass, and one of some sort of pot metal.
I have tried searches for some of there older buckles, but all I can find is some of their newer stuff, wich is usually all made of Gold, or Silver... I don't think they make any cheaper ones these days...
Good luck on trying to figure out the age of it,,, I have had no luck in ID'ing any of mine...

Nice of the coins to share a hole. Saves wear and tear on the digger. The buckle is a nice find.

Nice finds silver is great to see. You can tell they were in the ground together. Did you check to make sure there wasn't anything else in that hole due to the rust build up on them. I have found that when coins are in the ground together like that they tend to build up on one another. Nickles like to leave rust on silver.

Just some thoughts but seems true to the holes I have dug with multiple coins in them.
