1882 Indian Head Penny

Got out for a few hours saturday, ended up finding an 1882 IH penny, .925 silver ring. My buddy ended up with 2 IH pennies, one 1878 and the other has no date. Pics posted below. Enjoy.

Nice finds. The soil wasn't very nice to those wheats but the IH looks good.

I know the 3 wheats were found in the same location & area of the IH that i found and the 2 that my buddy found. Im surprised the IH is in good shape, normally the soil up here in Maine is not very friendly to old copper. It seems to be the year for old copper though. So far ive only found 1 silver quarter, 1 roosevelt silver dime, and 1 barber dime, and ive found a total of 6 IH pennies and 1 flying eagle cent.
