Hey,
I just watned to let eveyone know, how great this forum is. Its an excellent place to pick up pointers. I got a garret predator II, in May as a birthday gift and have been enjoying the hobby ever since. No big finds yet, best was a 51 wheat penny. I was at the local lake the other day, without my detector, and we docked the boat in a sand bar in the middle of the lake. 3 out of 4 people on the boat said at one time or another they had lost jewelry. I was wondering what kind of scoops you guy's recommend for sand.
Keep up the good posts.

Welcome to the forum. As far as scoops Omni is right, it's a matter of personal preference. You may want to check on ebay, there's usually all kinds listed under "sand scoops"

Welcome, hope to "see" some of your finds. On the scoop issue, I just use the one my grandfather gave me. I have no idea what brand it is so I guess that's not much help huh?
