    Carpenter Square

Afriend of mine received this a woman who he did some work for. The square is dated 1789. This square doesnt measure 8ths on it. It only measures by quarter inches and by the inch. Does anyone know anymore info on this?

No wonder these old houses are so crooked! I would love to have a tool that old and still use it on all my projects! Great find!
