my 2 cents worth

I got up this morning and decided to detect at a local school, even though the sky looked awful gloomy.
I got to the school at around 7:10 am and noticed the clouds was really rolling in fast, so i told myself, youve got about an hour to detect, get to it.
First few signals was iffy, but dug them anyways. Shouldve known they was pop tops, can slaw and a couple of washers.
I got a really good penny signal at 8 inches and dug down around 4 inches and sure enough, it was a 1967 penny. Not too far from that hole i got a penny/dime signal at 4 inches, dug down to about 4 inches and there was my second penny, a 2005.
I started thinking, you know i have only found around 10 nickles or so with the ace 250 and wouldnt you know it, i got a strong nickle signal at 8 inches and started digging and at around 6 inches there was my nickle.
Then the rain started hitting me on the arms and my face and it was time for me to go.
I found 7 cents in just under a hour.
Hope you all have a better hunt than i did,
Allen
