This probably isn't a find, but who knows? These might be really rare!

Bought an old trailer and it has these wheels on it. Tires are wasted but wheels show no rust... just many layers of green paint!

I don't see any markings on them at all. The bolt holes appear to be 5x5.25.

The tires on them are 7.00x16. One says 1952, the other says 1956.

The hubs are beastly and the bearings spin like new! They have mechanical drum brakes but they are long since seized.

I don't know if the leaf springs or straight axle are original to the setup. They appear to be. The springs have a perch for a shock it appears out of the center.

Can anyone tell me what this setup is from?

5x5.5 is the common one, but if I'm measuring right (center of hole to center), it is 5x5.25.

Yep, that looks like them! Any way to tell how old they may be? Or what period they used this rim? $148 new each huh... I'll sandblast em and sell them on ebay!

So I guess it IS a find :)

Definitely a jeep or a m-416 trailer. They shared the same tire. The m151 and m151A2 (jeep). I was in motor transport for 23 years USMC. The willeys jeep (ww2 and Korea era) I'm not sure but Vietnam era, yes.

Yes they are most likely from a trailer as this is a straight axle and they appear to match it.

Hmm, after looking at pics of the m-416 it appears they have different hubs and they seem to have holes in the rims.
